AIFF Executive Committee brings about a new era for women's football Team AIFF Media NEW DELHI: In accordance with the Strategic Roadmap Vision 2047 that was decided on January 7, 2023, the All India Football Federation has resolved to rebuild and restructure women's football in the nation. The Hero Indian Women's League (IWL) is being redesigned by the AIFF to provide women's football a new face and to boost economic prospects. The top eight IWL-affiliated teams must have a minimum of 10 Indian players with fully professional annual contracts of at least Rs 3.2 lakhs starting in the upcoming season.
